Program Overview
The Latinas Engineering Leaders Program is a 4-month virtual mentorship program designed to empower and support Latinas who are early in their college career and interested in pursuing a degree in Computer Science.
Throughout the program, we cover the fundamentals of career development; ranging from strategies on how to succeed in higher education to personal coaching on how to land your first technical internship.

Our goal is to help young Latina engineers land their first technical internship, and prepare them to become future leaders in the tech industry

Qualifications and Application
Please read through the information below to familiarize yourself with the selection process and ensure your eligibility
Important Dates to Remember

Application opens: May 14, 2021 at 8:00am (PST)

Application due: June 18, 2021 at 11:59pm (PST)

Video interviews will take place June - July 2021

Final decisions will be made in July 2021

Requirements:

Identify as a Latina
-
Be an incoming freshman or sophomore in the Fall of 2021
-
Intend to be enrolled as a full-time student in a BA/BS program in California for the Fall of 2021
-
Intend to pursue a degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or a related major
-
Have a passion for a career in the tech industry
-
Have a strong desire in their personal leadership development and growth
-
Be able to commit to the program responsibilities listed in the application
